Important information for October 2025
With the new version of the electronic banking application, the behavior of the signature folder has been adjusted to support the new processes surrounding Verification of Payee (VOP).
Due to a necessary update to the Hamburg Commercial Bank systems, no SEPA real-time payments (instant payments) can be processed between 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, 14 December 2025, and 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, 14 December 2025. Transactions made with your corporate credit card are not affected.
Icon display issues in new e-banking version
In the current version of our HCOB Electronic Banking, display errors may occasionally occur with icons. To resolve this issue, you have two options:
Option 1: Quick fix without clearing your browser
Simply visit the following URL once: https://electronicbanking.hcob-bank.com/js/tui-icon.js This will correctly load the required icons. You can then use the e-banking application as usual.
Option 2: Clear your browser If the icons are still not displaying correctly, we recommend the following steps:1. Log out of HCOB Electronic Banking.
2. Open your browser settings and delete the cookies.
3. Then clear your browser’s cache.
4. Restart your browser.
5. Log back in to HCOB Electronic Banking.

The SFirm financial software forms the basis for modern financial management. The application has a modular structure and can therefore be adapted to individual needs and requirements. Whether a person works locally on a single computer or employees from different departments in a network perform different activities in SFirm – the organizational form determines the scope of services.With the EBICS (Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard) remote data transmission procedure, SFirm can establish a connection to any German bank and is therefore multi-bank capable. The software is available in both German and English, whereby the range of functions of the German version is extended.
SFirm product line
SFirm offers a range of combinable modules from the manufacturer, which we have combined into practice-oriented software packages:
SFirm/Basic
With this package, we meet the basic requirements of a payment transaction application:
- Retrieval, display and post-processing of account information and earmarked items
- Entry of payment transaction orders (SEPA and DTAZV)
- Databases for organization, e.g. recipient details
SFirm/Cash
The SFirm/Basic package is expanded to include the functions of active and self-organized cash management. The application uses stored pooling rules to create carryforward postings. The system also offers evaluations of interest liabilities in the source account-target account relationship and shadow accounts.
SFirm/Enterprise
This package supplements the above-mentioned variants with premium functions that make financial management more flexible, effective and convenient. These include client capability, time-controlled recurring broadcast calls, PDF printouts and e-mail dispatch as well as an archive function for account information in an open database.
