Professional experience
Katrin Waechter is Diversity Manager at Hamburg Commercial Bank. Every day, she promotes an open corporate culture and interactions that are not only based on personal and social diversity, but also recognize this diversity and make its advantages visible to everyone involved. As part of this role, she independently advises employees on various issues related to their current life phase. She also initiates and actively participates in bank-wide projects on the topic of diversity, most recently in the development and publication of the HCOB Code of Diversity.
During her many years at our company, she has become familiar with HCOB’s various areas of operation. Thanks to the experience she has gained managing projects and people, she is well aware of how diverse and varied the bank is. Born in north Germany, the married mother of three is rooted in the region and has lived in Hamburg for many years.
