The listed 4-star superior traditional hotel was built in 1910 and has been completely renovated since 2015 in the Art Deco design of the Golden Twenties. Modern design elements and technologies are also part of the interior. The “Stadt Restaurant” is described as the “heart of the house”. The dining room was designed by ship outfitters Friese from Kiel, who had already fitted out the Cap Polonio, with wood paneling and a surrounding gallery like a restaurant on a cruise ship. The hotel is located in the heart of Hamburg near the main train station and numerous sights.
